The base definitely needs to be a nice lightened color for the dye to come out evenly. There are slight spots, but I'm satisfied with the color, and since I used a lot, it's completely purple, so I think I need to mix it with some other colors. The photos show the lightened color before dyeing and after using shampoo.

I mixed Real Pink and Pink Muli, and the color is pretty and long-lasting! I like that it comes out nicely without any blotches.
